Services

I offer personalized admissions advising for undergraduate applicants, transfer students, and graduate school applicants. Every student's path looks different, and I build a plan around where you are and where you're headed.

Initial Conversation

This first meeting is just a conversation, not a commitment. In a free, thirty minute meeting, over Zoom or in person, we'll talk through your academic profile, interests, and goals, and how I can help you get there. If you're under 18, we ask that a parent or guardian help set up this first meeting.

Sit down meetings can feel intimidating for some students. If you'd rather use this first call to talk things through on a walk, or over coffee or tea, just let me know. We'll pick a spot that works well for everyone. Future meetings will typically involve a computer, so those will be over Zoom or in person, at my office or another familiar, public spot.

High School Advising

For first time undergraduate applicants

Before we touch an application, we talk about what makes for a fulfilling high school experience, one built around your student's own interests.

This can include guidance on course selection, extracurricular involvement, and summer programs. I've built my own career through strategic outreach, including every research position I've held, and I can walk your student through that same process.

There's no formula that guarantees admission. Instead of a script, I offer direction, helping you invest your time and energy where it matters to you.

Transfer Student Advising

Transferring schools comes with its own story. I help transfer students explain why they're leaving, what they've learned, and where they're headed next. We'll make the most of your current coursework and involvement and build a list that's a better fit the second time around. I transferred from Wellesley College to Dartmouth myself, so I know this path firsthand.

Graduate School Advising

Graduate admissions come down to fit and purpose. I help you find programs that match your goals and write a personal statement that sounds like you. I've been through this process myself and have supported students applying to MD, DO, and MS programs.

College List Development

I do the research to help you build a list you're excited about. That might mean reach, target, and foundation schools, transfer friendly programs, or graduate programs with the right faculty and research fit. I weigh your intended major or field, involvement opportunities, location, size, and funding or scholarships to build a list around your goals.

Activities List and Resume Development

Most students undersell their own experience. I help you present your accomplishments in a way that shows not just what you did, but the impact you had. Whether it's an activities list, a resume, or a CV, I help you tell your story authentically.

Essay Writing

I work closely with students from early brainstorming through final drafts, whether that's a Common App Personal Statement, a transfer essay, or a graduate statement of purpose. This is always your work. I ask the right questions, offer feedback, and help you shape and refine what you've written, but the ideas and the voice stay yours. With AI everywhere now, a genuine, human voice matters more than ever, and I'm here to help yours come through clearly.

Additional Materials Support

I'll help you communicate with admissions offices, prepare for interviews when they're offered, and make sure your recommenders, whether teachers, professors, or supervisors, have what they need to write you a strong letter.

Application Management

Deadlines, decision plans, and requirements can pile up fast, and the process can start to feel overwhelming. I help make sure you feel informed and prepared every step of the way.
